MatchViral — Data Deletion Instructions
Last updated: October 13, 2026
1. How to Request Data Deletion
At MatchViral, we respect your privacy and your right to control your personal information.
If you want to delete your personal data associated with MatchViral, you can submit a deletion request by emailing:
Please use the subject line "Data Deletion Request" and include the email address associated with your MatchViral account.
For security purposes, we may ask you to verify your identity before processing your request.
2. What Happens After Your Request?
Once we receive and verify your request, we will:
- Review your request and identify the personal data associated with your account.
- Delete your account and associated personal data where applicable and requested.
- Remove connected social media account information and stored access tokens where applicable.
- Delete associated content and account records, subject to applicable legal, security, and contractual retention requirements.
- Confirm completion of your request by email when possible.
We aim to process verified deletion requests within 30 days, unless additional time is permitted or required by applicable law. If additional time is needed, we will notify you where required.
3. Disconnecting Social Media Accounts
You can also revoke MatchViral's access through the connected platform's account settings, including Facebook or Instagram where applicable.
Revoking access prevents future authorized access through that connection but does not necessarily delete data already stored by MatchViral. To request deletion of stored data, please email us.
4. Data Retention
Some information may need to be retained where required by law, for legitimate security purposes, to resolve disputes, or to meet contractual and financial recordkeeping obligations. Any retained information will be handled in accordance with applicable law.
